What Healing Techniques Holistic Doctors Vouch For?

We do not accept insurance as a form of payment at this time. Most PPO insurance plans consider Naturopathic Doctors  “out-of-network” providers, and will therefore cover 60-90% of your visit.  We can prepare a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.  We accept HSA cards and the like.

Naturopathic Medicine is the combination of the greatest achievements of the traditional, western diagnostic and treatment techniques with the therapeutic methodologies of naturopathic and ancient medical methods.

A Naturopath’s studies are conducted mostly through on-line courses.  The Naturopathic Doctor attends a 4-year medical school studying all of the basic and clinical sciences studied in conventional medical schools.  Naturopathic Doctors are licensed primary health care doctors that diagnose and treat diseases.

A Homeopath studies homeopathic medicine exclusively.  They use homeopathic remedies to remove acute symptoms, and will often prescribe a constitutional homeopathic remedy to take long term to help shift their clients constitutional imbalance.  A Naturopathic Doctor spends over 1600 hours studying basic and clinical sciences, over 1900 hours studying allopathic therapeutics (cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, etc.), over 900 hours studying Naturopathic therapeutics (botanical medicine, nutritional biochemistry, homeopathy, Ayurveda, Oriental Medicine, counseling, etc.).  The Naturopathic Doctor both diagnoses and treats diseases.  The fastest and most comprehensive route to cure, according to the patient’s condition, guides the doctor’s selection of the treatment modality.  Treatment may include homeopathy if it meets these specifications, otherwise other modalities may be used for treatment, and often a combination works best.
